Fuel cell in a wagon

I 've asked this before and never got a definitive answer. I'm wondering how you guys have separated the cell from the passenger compartment. I would like to cut out the floor and spare tire well and build a frame work and a sheet metal box setting the cell below the floor level and covering it with a sealed , hinged cover that can be opened for access and fueling. Can I build the supporting structure out of square tubing or does it have to be round? I'd appreciate any input and photos of what others have done. I know what has to be done for a coupe or hatch but I haven't had much luck finding info an how to set up a wagon. Any help will make my life easier and will be greatly appreciated.

80 Fairmont wagon, 528, Blue Thunder heads on E-85. Just a brutal street car
