Spark plug wires : what is the difference?
I have a 429 with a pertronix ignition , which plug wires work best? 500 ohm per foot , 150 , 300 , etc. What do you all recommend and why. What does the different resistance do?

What's the price difference? I'm guessing lower resistance wires are more money.

Think of it this way. Would you want water pipes in your house to flow less water, or more?

Lower resistance is just what it says. You don't want the energy to flow less. You always want less resistance between comparable sizes of wire.

Just be sure to use wires which are "good enough" for your application and not be the bottleneck in the sparking ignition system ... anything more is just a waste of money.

Well, there kinda is. To a certain point, the higher resistance wire will usually exhibit more RFI suppression for less radio wave interference.

Again, as long as there is enough, you are fine.

You have to remember too that the secondary portion of the ignition system is high impedance so a few hundred ohms resistance is inconsequential one way or the other and as Randy said it serves as a choke for RFI.
