D20E-AB Heads

I bought a P.I. engine Saturday for 200.00, everything looks good.
My problem is with the head casting numbers, one is D20E-AB and the other is, D20E-A, thus it is missing the B. I have cleaned the area well and there is not any sign of a letter past the A.
Is this just a casting flaw, or could these be alittle different such as combustion chamber size?

Thanks for any input.

Both are P.I. castings. The level of revision is different or the B is just plain missing. I would not be concerned...

Thank you Scott.
I may use these this fall on a street engine, and check with you on exhaust port pricing when the time comes.
