Plumcrazy lower, Adams upper. I'd rather not say anything except that I could easily triple my money, if I wanted to.

I looked at a Kel-tec PF9 a little while back. I must have missed the belt clip, looks like a nice idea. I did get a chance to fire one, they have a very long pull.

Most Kel-tecs do have a long pull.

Pretty standard for double action only, and no safety. There are companies out there now with aftermarket triggers, etc.

Fast and Furious that was aimed directly at our 2nd amendment, treason as far as I'm concerened. We don't need a govt that does things like that. We also really need to step back and take a good look at all the psychotropic drugs being prescribed. Children should never under any circumstances be prescribed any of these drugs. Seems every time an incident happens it doesn't take long before it comes out that the person or people were on some type of those drugs.

Springfield XDS

I just missed out on a Springfield XDS today. They had one at our local gun shop. A guy got there 60 seconds before me and bought it. It was selling for $599. Not too bad considering how hard they are to come by and they advertise it is the smallest .45 out there. I offered him $100 bucks to walk away but he didn't fall for it (DAMN IT!! ) It is a great little concealed carry piece and I really want one. I'll find another one eventually I hope.

Here is a link to the webpage:
http://www.xdspistol.com/

I'll keep my fingers crossed. Maybe one day....

Been a big fan of weapons for a long time. Have lots of long guns, no pistols ( yet ). I do think that for Home ( not personal per-se ) protection a shotgun is invaluable. Has lots of take down power and in the middle of the night can be aimed efficiently enough to hit the target multiple times if needed. Also the projectiles have a tough time penetrating multiple walls lessening the chance of hitting something/someone in another part of the residence. Although the pattern needs to be choked down to minimize the impact zone.
As far as bans go, criminals will use whatever is needed to do the damage desired, case in point, Oklahoma City bombing.

I am very much encouraged about the future of this nation after reading all the Gun posts! Next to drag racing Fords, its the next best thing to tinker with, hot rod guns!
I have a house full and all my children (7) could handle, clean and shoot any one of them before they were 12 or so. Guns are like tools, they will only do what someone wants them to do! God Bless America, and God Bless all you Good Americans out there!

I keep a nice 10 ga shot gun around, devastating at short range, but can also reach out a ways a reach someone. With slugs it's a tank gun. I will always own a lathe too, no matter what I can always machine up something big.....

Springfield XDS .45 ACP

I finally got a Springfield XDS .45 ACP. I found it on CheaperThanDirt.com for $559. It is a very nice piece. I only have about 200 rounds through it so far but it has worked flawlessly since new.

Next Stop: Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum 629. That will have to wait for a bit though. It is about $950 and I have a Mustang to finish first.

Critter, I've been looking at the Plumcrazy lowers as of late. What do you think of them?? Good points? Bad points?
