4r70w Police...help?!

Bless me Father for I have sinned ... i I have been unfaithfull in thought word and deed

I have been screwing around with used police interceptors for the past year or so and they're great little cars I'm thankfully i still have my 466 T-Bird ..because today i blew off a tranny cooler hose on acceleration on the p71 and after filling it backup with fluid I no longer have any gear past 2nd ,...tries to shift and stalls drops back ...burnt fluid ...

this was an aftermarket tranny cooler scabbed on because they changed radiators thanks a lot Austin Fleet services ,,, or it could have been me left the hoses loose where they could bounce around Duh

although I'm a machinist,... Right now i'm leaning toward taking it out and letting someone else fix it ...never been into a transmission
Question Does anybody have suggestions ( I hear you snickering )
