Looking to replace a 500cfm Edelbrock Performer carburetor sitting on an Edelbrock Performer RPM dual-plane manifold, with either a 750 Performer, or a 650 Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS. By all calculations the 500cfm is undersized for this 460 engine @ +/- 6200 RPM and estimating 85% VE. But the cu.in. Is all I know for sure. The rest is best guess and assumption. This is for drivability on pump gas. Not for track or time trials. Not sure if I should take it up, or way up. I'd welcome opinions or other recommendations. Thanks all.
