65 Mustang Build

Thought I would put up some pics of a good friend of mines 65 Coupe hes putting together right now. Car is coming along quickly, and he hopes to have it done for the summer. FRT-END is a AJE kit, and the rear-end is a Comp. ENG kit. Tires in the rear are 315/60 M/T ET Street radials. Eng/Trans combo is a pump gas 472/Broader C4.....................

Motor Plate...........

Looks like he is heading towards the "motor plate/ mid plate" deal now. Sure would help in the header fitment department, and get some good "set-back" on the Eng/Trans.

more pics??

Are you keeping the rear torque boxes?
Looks like you're keeping the rear wheel well inner lip?
The rear frame rails look to be wider than the cross member where it's welded up?
Why ladder vs 4 link,..I'd ask the same question if it were the other way around,...
What mfg back half did you choose and why?

Wife,........."You drove how far for that thing?"
Daughter,..."Theres no inside and it stinks."
Friend,......."Dude, thats a rusted piece of sheet."
Son,.........."This old car is cool."

AJE

Anthony Jones Susupension is the maker of the front-end. Their parts are available through Summit. The Competition Engineering rear susp. kit fit well, and was priced 'right'! As for the ladder bars, very simplistic and work well..............The car is currently on hold.................
