Nothing like the feeling you get when a virgin chassis rolls for the first time......it's like giving birth to something living.

I like the column mount... simple, light, effective and replaceable.

There's been some changes over the past couple of weeks. We've had one partner drop out of the project to concentrate on running for an NHRA divisional championship. Leaving the drivers seat open. Luckily Van has an old friend with a lot of nitro experience who will take the seat and help with the build. We've also decided to change the name of the car to reflect the new deal.

Last weekend we fit the seat, finished the steering and mounted the brake handle with the master cylinder.

More to come.

I decided to scrap the name Paladin due to changes in the team. Van and I kicked around a lot of names. I'm honored to say Van has given his blessing to the new name of the AA/FA....
