Well when I had this problem my converter I had with the 1.375 would not fit in the crank. I had to order a converter from TCI for it with the 1.250 pilot. TCI was the only place I could find that had a part number for that converter.

Yeah mine goes about 3/4 of the way in and then the converter bearing gets real wide and hits the crank edge. The engine is 1971 engine just have a late model c6

Oh and thanks for the exhaust manifolds Carl. At first I was little weary as to if they would fit nicely. Turns out they fit perfectly! Hopefully it sounds good to through my cherry bombs!

Well I measured with a tape measure from under the car. So I couldnt get that fine of a reading. I'll have to lift the engine out and use a finer instrument to be certain.

To me it looked to be 1 7/8, maybe smaller but I don't think an bigger than that.

Newest photos!! She's sitting in there alright. Solid as a rock with those mounts I fabbed. Have a question of where to put my oil pressure gauge in the engine? Is it the hole in the top back behind the intake?

i had a converter problem with my early 460 crank the converter measured 1.85 and the pilot was 1.835 chucked the converter in a lathe cut the pilot till it fit

Yes sir, oil gauge goes in the port behind the intake. Cool car by the way, wagons RULE!

I was thinking about getting it cut. Would be cheaper than buying a new converter. Thanks dude I love my wagon!! Just want it to go fast!
