Got front clip all back together on the Bobcat today. Will probably be getting a turbo 2.3 and srod 4speed installed. Also scored a 3.00 open 8" for free.

But back on topic!

I picked up an Explorer rear to steal the disc brakes off from for the Mustang. Got the caliper mounting brackets and calipers all cleaned up today and salvaged the complete brakeline setup from the rearend. Rotors are rusted badly so getting a new set then install everything.

Will be getting the 315's mounted tomorrow or Monday and doing mock up to check what all needs to be modified to make them fit this coming week.

Ignition box, tranny, and fuel system is all that is left after this coming week.

Very Nice!

If you feel like it make another build thread for the Bobcat. I'd like to see a pic with the front end back on. I know a 2.3 isn't a 460 but it would be cool just the same. Those little 2.3's can really haul the mail when done properly.

Been a long time since I made an update. So figured I would catch this thread up. I cleaned up the factory front brakes and bought an Explorer rearend to steal the disc brakes off from.

I also narrowed the rearend another inch per side so the 315's clear better. Also mini-tubbed the car. I picked up a four gallon fuelcell from ag460torino to mount in front of the radiator and bought a Mallory comp 250 to supply fuel. Trading the Bobcat for a trans, pressure washer, and a Supercoil.

Been gone for awhile but I am back. I recently started driving otr.

My direction has changed a little bit. I am going to drive this on the street occasionally so a few plans have changed. I installed power windows and mirrors in the car last weekend. I would have gotten a glass windshield installed as well but it had to be ordered so that will go in next time I am in town. I will also finish plumbing the brakes and work on the wiring. I have a turbo 400 sitting at the tranny shop getting rebuilt with a hipster's pro tree brake. I will be running a larger fuel cell due to the street use. Once the tranny is done all I lack is a radiator, a driveshaft, and a little time to work on it.

Oh I forgot my local exhaust shop is going to install dual 4" exhaust with an X pipe and 2 Chamber Flowmasters.

The arb is installed and the nose is back on but I don't have pics of that yet. I have a big gaping hole in my trunk right now where the spare tire well was that needs covered and need a transmission yet. Bought two turbo 400's but only thing savable were both cases and one input shaft.

Lol it is actually Jason 's welder now. I traded him for a converter. I am either getting an AlphaTig200dx or a Lincoln Weldpack 180, or both.
