Haven't had much time to work on the car been busy with moving my business. Finally all settled in, and excited to get back at this project this weekend. Been collecting parts and this is the set-up I ended up with:
.30 over D1VE
TRW 2443 dome top pistons
D3 heads with mild port, bowls worked, large stainless valves
Comp Cl34-250-4 cam / lifter / springs
Eldebrock Torker II intake
Moroso Drag pan
Car has a 9" with 4:10 gear, 4cyl springs, 90/10s, 6pt cage connected sub-frames, stripped out all the sound deadeners but didn't cut anything kept the stock interior look minus back seat.
Still need just a couple things...
Going to be running a 850 Double Pumper- I like the QuickFuels
C6 is at transmission shop getting checked out / freshened up- I rolled the dice on a deal on a "mild street/strip C6" 2500 stahl on c-list. We'll see how that works out!
Going to have my buddy who is a fabricating wizard make me some adjustable upper & lowers to bolt up to the 9" This will be a stock suspension small tire car-hopefully, as long as it sticks. It's gonna be a tire burner but I plan to leave off the brake at idle and spray it a little on the long end.
I will post some new pics this weekend after I get the CC plates and 90/10s installed and the car is back on the ground. These 4cyl springs are a PITA!!! Next weekend if all goes well- engine assembly!!!
