my first time out since 09

Ran a best for the day 11.21 at 126 with car bogging out of hole with the 355 gears.felt good with mickys drag radials.Now on to the gear swap to 410.

update

with exhaust off and slicks ran 10.80 at 130.boy my bbf pulls hard at the big end.now to get the 410,s put in....Iam looking for some 10.50,s....

Whats your combo? Your exhaust must have been pretty restrictive.

combo

its a 60 over 14 to1 alum edelebrock heads with solid flat tappet cam and a glide.

update

With exhaust on and new 410,s it ran the same time anly lost 3mph at the top end.My converter is way to tight.Put in diff converter and going to try again this weekend.

update

went to the local 1/8 mile track and went 6.72 at 105 pullin the tires.wow what a difference the torque converter makes.figures out to a 10.50 ish in the 1/4.so iam happy and done working on it for a while.1.48 on the 60 foot.

Finally gettin back to the quarter mile track this sat the 20th of oct.hopein for a 10.50 or better...
