Choice of heads ?

What I have atm,2 bolt main block, cast crank, steel rods, forged pistons 30".D3 cast heads (ported)not sure of flow numbers, GM671 blower & Enderly injection running on methanol.
Have sold blower.Unsure whether to get 871 or 1071.
Im' getting a A460 block & Scat forged crank.
My compression is about 9:1.
I was looking at getting some bare heads & fitting my stuff to them as they are still good.
Was looking at Kase P51 heads but also noticed the C-460 heads.
Wanting to keep my blower manifold, will it fit both style heads ?
Any sugestions?
Thanks Steve

The tail will wag the dog here,,,,meaning whatever style/manufacture blower manifold you have will be the determining factor in which heads you can run. So,,,,,,,what or whose blower manifold do you have?

Secondly,,,,there is a very unlikely chance that your head parts, if you are meaning valves, will "fit" the new heads you decide to buy. That would be the least of my concerns.

Hope this helps,

Charlie Evans

Of the two choices you referenced, you'd be better off with the P51s if you plan on using that intake. Well to be correct, your only choice would be to go with the P51s if you are determined to use that intake. The C460 is an entirely different layout.

Understood. My reply was directed at the two specific heads he referenced - a P51 casting and a C460 casting.
