My friend has a old style chokeless race carb with choke milled and some work done smoothing top and removeable air bleeds installed. the throttle shaft have been sent off and milled thinner and stainless butterflies added with the button screws. I would think this would flow as much as a 950hp? I will add a K-N top to help radius airflow. Woulnt this be good enough for a 550 plus 460 cubes and a torker 2. Thanks ,,,ED

Anyone got and Idea? I would think a bigger venturi would have the potencial to flow more air at higher rpms than a smaller one ,correct? I need some input about carbs and will have traction issues so bigger carb might help hook :? ED

If you want to verify what the carb flows have a carb specialist put it on a flow bench.

Well I can see how that will go . He will have the exact carb I need ,so he says right on shelf for about $900 dollars. The odds you might get a true test then goes down hill. I would also need a 950hp to compare right there to be a true comparison. I beleive carbs are near a exact science and someone will know opproximatly what one could flow with the above mods. But that might be hard info to get. I know there some gain to epoxy work also. This is about all the carb that I can afford,so i will haved to make do with a modified 850 or a proform body added. I think it will be close anyhow. Later,,,ED
