460 build up

i have a 75 ford 1/2 ton with a 460 from a mercury marquis. what kind of parts should i buy for it? i would like to have high hp and gobs of torque can you help me out?
i would like to do the top end first then see how she runs with stock bottom end then maybe stroker. but thats not for a while i just got it painted and i want to drive it but it has stock motor and theres snow everywhere!

heads: trick flow street 460
cam: not shure suggestions?
intake:trick flow R series
carb:1050 holley
headers:1.875" 3" collector hooker super comp.

it will be running 4.11 gears with a detroit locker

any other suggestions?

with that top end combo i dont expect that bottom end to last long

Screw it.....put a blower on it and see how long it lasts......At least its painted it'll look good blown up in the snow.......LOL

why wont it last long? should i start buying parts now or just do the whole thing at one crack?

it is all about what your gonna do with it if your gonna build the top end and never run over 5000 rpms than your bottom end should hold up but just so ya know your bottom end isnt made to handle what that top end combo will do i have seen rods fly out of blocks on alot lesser top end that your planning on atlease look into a good set of aftermarket rods and pistons the crank shouldt be turned and i have always heard the crank will hold up to 800 hp and i would say that is correct it is the rods and pistons that i would worry about

Was playing around with ya bro.....really though if those are the stock cast pistons....and you start making some power and spinning it to 6000 those pistons wont last very long.....the skirts will break off......I realize ya got to start somewhere though.....D
