About three days ago, I went out to start my car and realized the block was froze. Apparently, I didn't have enough antifreeze in the mix :( . Fast forward three days to this morning (12-6-2006)...
The weather has warmed up enough for me to go out and take a look at the damage...
The radiator, which was frozen, appeared very low/empty. I started the car....
Long story short, the block is leaking water externally, water is getting in the oil, and it smokes. The block is very likely ruined.
Parts of this post are a cut & paste off a post of mine from another website.

I've owned this car for ~6 years and bought it 100% stock. Until now, this car has always been a very reliable daily driver that rarely gave me problems.
I'm sure there are lots of things I didn't mention. If you're interested, I can go into much greater detail on everything with the car (I did 99% of the work myself). The body is in decent shape (absolutely no rust) and the interior is pretty good also (no dash cracks, etc).
You can see pictures of the car at:

I don't do nearly as many pictures as I used to, but I can take current pictures verifying everything I've said. The second link has my 96 Mustang's buildup and you can get an idea of the quality of work I do.
I also have receipts for most of the stuff I bought.
The pictures show the car with 17" chrome Cobra R's (knock-offs). Before the car sells, I will put an 8.8" from an 88 T-bird in it that's been converted to 5-lug and disc brakes. This axle is currently in my 96 Mustang and works fine. It has 3.55's and a limited slip. Since the car will be 5-lug, the Cobra R's won't fit. I've got two pair of rims/tires for it that you can take your pick of. One set is stock, black steelies and the other is a nicer set of 16" factory rims.
Before I screwed up the block, I was planning on asking $4,000 for it. With the bad block, I think $2,000 sounds fair. If the car doesn't sell, I may get around to fixing it. Heck, with all the parts I have on this thing, I bet it's worth more than that by parting it out. I'd prefer not to go that route though. This is a good, solid car and deserves better than that.
I can drive my truck for now, but I need to sell this car and buy another DD.
This car still starts and can pull itself up on a trailer. I would not recommend 'driving' it home.
If you have any specific questions...post'em up!
Have a good day!
Michael
