Chevy Converter Ford flexplate ???

I have a Hay's SFI flexplate, Can i just drill 3 holes for the chevy converter or is there a better way, and if so, what is the prefered methond. I know about the "Wheel" but i dont have the clams for that. thanks for the input -Justin

You can just drill the holes needed, that's what I would do... Make a bushing for the front of the converter so that it will locate properly in the rear of the Ford crankshaft. Then use an old crank and stand it up so the flange it upright, install the flexplate and converter now it's easy to mark and drill the holes. Turn it around on there a few times so that you can pick the best spots for your holes. I think that most of the time one of the Ford holes will work and you then need to drill two more for the large GM converter pattern.

Remind you that as soon as you modify your SFI flexplate(ie ; drilling Holes) the SFI is Void
