2 spd. Powerglide

What all is required to be able to use a powerglide 2spd. on a 460 ford ?

JW Bell or adaptor plate :D if you have a high horse power car a glide will set u back $ 4000 + :cry:

JW makes a nice adaptor bell that is a whole lot better than the plates. A stock case glide can handle a pretty stout motor as long as the car is a reasonable weight. You should be able to do a complete new Stock Case Glide, Convertor, JW Bell / Adaptor kit for around $2400 + Shifter and Modifications to your Driveshaft, Cross Member, Starter Ect.

Unless your building a really fast car with Big HP the Aftermarket Cases and big time Gearsets are more of a luxuary than a requirement. IMO

Thank's guy's for the reply's. It's pretty unrealistic sinse all my c6 associated stuff is new. I'll just keep the C6 setup. Jim
