U-Joints with grease fittings

I have Precision Super U-Joints.

They use a zerk fitting in the bearing cup (not in the cross like others I have had). The zerk fitting is different than what I am used to. It has a slot like a standard screw head and is shorter than the normal zerk fittings. My grease gun doesn't seem to work on this style of zerk fitting.

Is there a special grease gun I need for these?

Lincoln p/n 5803 is a fitting that will screw on to the end of your grease gun hose after you remofe the normal end and allow you to inject grease into your flush mount grease nipple.
