Got a buddy doing it, but all the parts always say 1995 and back, same with the tubular crossmembers. What is the cheapest way to do it, this car will maybe have 400hp, small headers ok. He probably will be one of those guys that never finishes it.

Duane.. UPR is having a sale on K-member / tube control arms / Coil over springs.

http://www.uprproducts.com/

Bolt on Headers can be found @ D&D Specialities

http://www.mspmall.com/ddautospec/swapkits.html

Bob is an awesome guy to deal with..

Kooks Headers makes a application I believe also..

If ya go with the front coil over kit.. see what struts will fit the conversion as not all struts are the same. Some aftermarket struts have shorter extension ..

Hope that helps some!

Umm the difference between the 95 & 96 is the 96 came with the Mod 4.6 vs the 5.0 in 95.. Sorry but just remembered.. got to thinking about your question..

Laters!

I went to D&D, and they only show up to 93 Stangs. I knew the diff between 95-96 was the 302/mod, but what is the difference in the crossmembers? Some say there is no difference, this car is being built by this guy, and he keeps it in Brownwood (I'm NOT driving that far to mess with it)

K-Members for 1994-2004 are the same just diffrent motor mounts. You can use the AJE tubular K-Member.

AJE part # is MU-4000 $299

Best thing to do is call, like dfree mentioned. Tell them what ya got and what ya want and they can hook you up.

Also the deal UPR has is pretty darn good, you get a Chrome-Moly K-Member, Chrome-Moly A arms, and a coilover kit for $699. Just get the one for 79-95 Mustang and use the FRPP 460 swap mounts.

This was touched on earlier in this thread, but I'll repeat it.

A FOX k-member will work perfectly fine in SN96. Headers are also the same. All of this assumes you're not trying to use a 4.6 liter engine :).

In my 96 Mustang, I used a FOX k-member, FOX headers, and FOX motor plates and didn't have any problems.

Have a good day!
Michael
