Complete 1971 Ford Lincoln Mercury C6 Automatic Transmission
from behind a 460 4 barrel in a 1971 Lincoln Town Car.
Trans, Converter, Flexplate, Block Plate, Dipstick, KickDown Rod, Starter,
Vacuum Line, Flexplate to Crank Bolts and Ring, Converter Nuts.
No Driveshaft Yoke included.
Understanding is this transmission was working when removed
but the car had not been ran for 20 years, so no guarantee it works.
Stored indoors. Fluid is still bright red.
Transmission is out of a 1971 Limited Edition Lincoln Town Car
50th Anniversary Gold Medallion with a 460 4 barrel,
mileage unknown, but believed to be less than 100,000.

Another picture of the shifter linkage area.
Not familliar with C6's, don't know what to look for.
Does not appear to be any electrical connections in the shifter area.
Know what one looks like on a TorqueFlite 727.
Looks like a 1/2 inch pipe plug or temp sensor with 3 brass prongs.
Don't see anything like that on this C6, but I could be missing it.
Does it resemble the ones on a TF-727 ?
