how would this combo hold up 3day weekend racing all season.

unless its 18.1 w a 1" cam :wink:

there are a lot of guys on here with 570 + and they bracket race there cars with no problems ---just depends on the build and the tune. need more details about your build ....

I hear alot of talk about the 4.5 stroke crank.

wondering what air flow need for heads
what size carb.

how fast do you want to go? You can use anything rom a stock head to a C460 or Thor head.

I know that you can use anything. Just wondering on say 5.20 range in 1/8

What is your combo ??? list your combo tranny?? weight?? chassis ??? etc....

you could build a tfs street head 572 to get you those numbers :wink:

There's no problem with a 572 no matter how you get it, 4.500X4.500 or with a larger bore and a bit less stroke, either way will work fine and last a long time, this is not "pushing it" in any way.
