me and my brother are going. he is going to take his car for sure ,if i find work by then mine will be there. hope i get to meet some of you guys.

yea No Problem, my buddy be there with his 7 sec fox body, i'm running state capitol on the 21st to make sure the car is running right for the next week at No Problem.

Where do you live at if you don't mind my asking?

HI Smasher, yea I'll be there. Finally got it running right after almost a year of scratching my head. Maybe I'll set a new best, who knows. Look me up when you get there.

Well the weather looks so-so but I should be able to make it.

I planned on going but it looks like my car is going to still be waiting for parts to arrive, so I'm going to a hooters meet up in Denham instead.

Well I went down saturday and dang was it chilly billy out there. The high was 55 but the wind was really whipping which made it cold. They said there was 450 cars to go through once they got started. No Problem is a pretty nice track but they only have two decent stands which was maybe enough seating for 1/3 of the people. I finally had enough of trying to look around other peoples heads to try and see a partial pass and left around 4pm. They were no where near finished at that point.

I did get to meet Hemi Hunter and see his Maverick. He had broke a ladder bar mount on Friday so I never got to see it run but it is a cool old car.

I was there too saturday and you weren't joking!......the wind was howling and dang was it cold!......I was there from around 10 that morning to around 10 that night. Awesome cars some REALLY LOW 7 second runs. Even got my picture with the host! I walked everywhere hoping to catch HarleyDave but must have missed him. The place was severely over packed and the dang cops made it hard to get "great seating arrangements" but we managed!

I didn't go, but I'll ask on the local forum if anyone did see it.

What times did it run?

There were so many cars and so many people I am not sure if I seen that car or not. Once they started they were banging them through.

just for the record, the :Stampede" fox body mustang was in the quick 8 for pinks all out. which his seconde qualifying pass was 7.61 and qwent to the to the second round winning the first round beating "chicken bone" by a fender; we didn't get the time on the fox body but chicken bone went 7.41 so you can take that any way you want. second round we lost by fender to the low qualifier (7.20).

Now, don't just take my word for it, watch the pinks all out when speed tv show airs the episode sometime in july. they usually show the times of the quick 8 cars.

That’s awesome, I’m not even going to ask how much nitrous he was using because it's trivial.

Did you see the car that blew-up? They said the guy was sitting in the staging lanes listening to his radio and some how the nitrous system was activated. It was flooding the engine with nitrous and fuel. Then he went to crank the engine to move up in line and the car exploded! Pushed everything outward from the engine compartment. Flames came through the vents and got him and the radio was knocked out of the dash.

Hey where is all the nay sayers that said i was full of **** about the low seven sec fox body...hmm. well i guess that shut 'em up....... Also he will be comming to the ford bash with me this year to stretch out a little bit.

P.S. some of you guys need not be so closed minded when someone makes a comment about a fast car. calling someone a liar before you know what your talking about can make you look like a real *** hole so be careful now, ya here'

You have to remember Chip that when you first brought this car up you made it sound like it was going to run 7's all motor with no nitrous.

I don't think no one disagreed with you that the car couldn't run 7's with nitrous. You can't tell me you don't remember all of those conversations.

I wouldn't go pounding my chest just yet.

I seen that same pass, that car was unreal!

i made it to the top 32 but i had a freaking crane lifter fail and could not race, My brother has the pink 79 mustang and made it to the top 4 . my brother is using morel lifters.

Jones, go back and read the thread, you will see that i am right. They run me into the ground like a No. 12 bottom plow! i'm not going to keep on about it but a real man would apoligize in my book when he realized he was wrong.

7's on spray aint no big deal, there are a handfull of smallblock drag radial cars around here that would hand him his ***.

And again no one said it wouldn't d it on spray, and no mine will never be that fast.

i personaly think the cars that were in the last 4 was faster than a 10.0 , my brothers car will run a 10.0 and he said that car that put him out pulled away from him . you guys should have seen those cars . my brothers car looked like a 10.0 car , those cars looked like 9 second cars easy . i would be ashamed to have a car that looked that fast and it only run a 10.0 . dont make since to me. throttle stops on them maybe i dunno . but i dont think it was all fair.

It's hard for them to judge some cars but I agree, some aren't playing fair. I mean I could take some timing out of my car or shift it earlier in order to make it run a tenth slower and then pick it up later. Also you have to consider that if some of the guys are running a little rich then at night when it gets cooler they will pick up a bunch. Tricks of the trade ;)

I had fun with Dan, Chuck, David and the others at Pinks All Out in Indy but I don't think I'll do it again.
