we talked about this a little while back, anyway I waited for the 2009 schedule. Since a couple of people wanted spring/ fall dates here is what looks good:
May 16, and if we get rained out then a reschedule for Sept. 26
No major event here, but I thought it would be nice to organize a get together for us who are close enough to show up.

How you feel about kil-kare going to 1/8 mile? Test and tune will continue to be 1/4 though...

I agree..I'm not a fan of 1/8 mi racing...but it seems to be what is taking over:mad:. I'm not that far from ya' either...I could make a fall date better than I could make an early one...probably could talk a few more into it too...:cool:
fall would work out if i can keep my junk together that long:rolleyes: i'll follow the yellow submarine up there:p

Why don't you guys pick a track for the fall in your area??? Maybe some of us might make it there.
No reason this forum can't have multiple local get togethers. Its nice to place faces to names.

What kind of a deal did you guys have in mind? Something informal, just plan it for the night of regular race? Or, a Ford only type of race? If it's something to just try to get some people together, maybe we could talk some of you guys into coming over for the Fall Shootout or one of the other two day races. The track is newly re-surfaced (last year) and hooks like a MO-FO.:eek::cool:

They are going to run the Mega Race Series once a month. If anyone ends up coming, be sure to look me up. They have some pretty good racin' scheduled this year.
