MY 1973 GRAN TORINO SPORT build

here is my build. 1973 gts, c6 trans w/4000stall, 4.56 gears, 29.5x10.5 slicks, 460 .060, kb pistons w/ h-beam rods, balanced rotating assembly, .660 lift solid roller cam, ported iron cj heads, victor intake, 1050 dominator, 2 1/8in headers, i'm hoping for high 11's.

You should get that e.t. no problem. My 70 Cobra (3700#) with a 69 460 .040 over KB pistons, (12.5:1) Stock rods/crank, balanced with ARP fasteners, Gasket matched DOVE's Solid FMS cam .614/.614, Torker intake and 1000 hp Holley, C6 (footbrake) with a 10in ATI converter 9" and 4.30's went 11.30'-40's 118-119mph, dead on all day.

I am reading that right?....3700lbs.?......11.30's?......thats impressive dude.

Thanks! That was race weight with me in it. It was a good combo, I went a lot of rounds with that car! With my 514 it went 10.20's. Tore has it now.

mine is a little heavier than yours. it weighed 4200 with a 351c in it. the only thing i did to liten it up is i put 2 racing buckets in it. i also got rid of the inner fenders and front bumper. i found a fiberglass hood for it to.
