Just sharing some pics of my new exhaust system on my '65 Galaxie.
My friend (the big guy in the pics) custom built it for me out of 3" tubing. He did a hell of a job on it. Mufflers are Hooker Maxflows and dump out over the axle and behind the rear wheels.

Nice! I'm dying to hear what they sound like but it's going to be a few more days. After the exhaust was buttoned up we started on a cam swap. This should be a completely different car when we're done.
Thanks for the compliment. I'll pass it along to my friend.

Looks good. Are you using a 429/460 or an FE... if a 460, what headers did you end up using?

That system will be good for some torque. Probably a good choice to exit behind the axle to knock off a few dB with those mufflers.

Nice Exhaust. I have a 65 galaxie with a 460 also. Could you post some pics of the engine bay? What engine mounts/ headers did you go with? What is your engine specs? What cam are you putting in? Just a couple questions cause I have the d3ve heads and I am looking to upgrade the camshaft. Please let me know. Thanks.
