Thanks. I bought them off ebay for $150. They will clear a girdle. I don't recommend them though. I had to cut them around the bottom rail so they would fit down around the guide plates and had to ream out a couple of the mounting holes so they would line up. You get what you pay for, next time i'm dig deeper into the piggy bank. I guess if you don't mind having to work on something you just bought brand new there not all that bad. I also had them powdercoated.

this is a 1966 fairlane. And those are blue thunder A with scj ports, Shock towers are going to be relocated a bit, as there is about 2 " from several ports to the shock tower.

It's the transmission oil cooler. Its thermostatically controlled, on at 190 off at 160 . It keep the trans close to the same temp all the time, works great.

Blake: I'm really intersted in your unique tranny cooler setup. Is there any way that you could give more details on how you mounted it? What kind of cooler is it, and how big? Did you cut a larger hole in the apron? Any info and pictures that you could pass on would be appreciated. I'm not sure if anyone else is running a tranny cooler in that position, but I've never seen it before. Great idea!
