Who makes em??....how much do they cost?? Will they clear a stud girdle?? racereadyfab 03-28-2009, 06:28 PM Racereadyfab.....I love those valve covers!! Who makes em??....how much do they cost?? Will they clear a stud girdle?? Thanks. I bought them off ebay for $150. They will clear a girdle. I don't recommend them though. I had to cut them around the bottom rail so they would fit down around the guide plates and had to ream out a couple of the mounting holes so they would line up. You get what you pay for, next time i'm dig deeper into the piggy bank. I guess if you don't mind having to work on something you just bought brand new there not all that bad. I also had them powdercoated. nuclearcobra 04-05-2009, 09:23 PM http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z169/nuclearcobra/th_hoodlessbigblock001.jpg (http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z169/nuclearcobra/?action=view¤t=hoodlessbigblock001.jpg) Putnam419 04-05-2009, 09:35 PM Nothing special: http://i39.tinypic.com/30cnnra.jpg 514wyo 04-05-2009, 11:14 PM http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd15/mwvdub/IMG_0366.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd15/mwvdub/IMG_0376.jpg gtmustang 04-06-2009, 09:06 AM My old 472, FRPP mounts, factory engine location. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd63/502-Cj/472.jpg My new 502, FRPP mounts, 1.5" dropped x-member w/ 1" engine setback. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd63/502-Cj/Mustang2.jpg Fomoco8 04-06-2009, 02:57 PM My 78 Ranchero http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr304/Fomoco8/engin4.jpg Doug Rahn 04-06-2009, 10:30 PM My '90 Mustang LX. http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w244/dcrahn/DSCF0961.jpg lx545 04-07-2009, 09:49 PM my 545ci in the works sogacorral 04-08-2009, 10:21 PM http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/sogacorral/NewMotor004.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/sogacorral/NewMotor023.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/sogacorral/NewMotor013.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/sogacorral/NewMotor006.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/sogacorral/NewMotor009.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/sogacorral/NewMotor003.jpg steve skinner 04-09-2009, 09:09 PM stil mocking up, waiting on the machine shop. morrisracing 04-09-2009, 10:08 PM Here is mine. Its thermostatically controlled, on at 190 off at 160 . It keep the trans close to the same temp all the time, works great. Thanks Blake: I'm really intersted in your unique tranny cooler setup. Is there any way that you could give more details on how you mounted it? What kind of cooler is it, and how big? Did you cut a larger hole in the apron? Any info and pictures that you could pass on would be appreciated. I'm not sure if anyone else is running a tranny cooler in that position, but I've never seen it before. Great idea!
