2009 BBF Bash III Racer Cookout - Friday Evening

BBF Bash Friday Cookout: So let’s hear some ideas. I’m thinking that we can all bring grills and food for some grilling and socializing Friday evening. We won’t be doing the tent like the last 2 years so we will need to improvise. Any volunteers to organize and help with the cook out? Or will we just wing it when we get there?

iI will probably be up there a couple of days before so i could start marinating meats, poultry or whatever yall are up for ????

I'm a little light for a grill but I would gladly donate meat or whatever to whomever can prepare it. (Bruno)?

The beer will be supplied by the PA guys. We might as well buy it as we will probably drink most of it. I'm sure they sell kegs and ice somewhere in Owensboro.

This sounds like a great idea. I'll bring something unique here from Jersey, and I promise it won't be full of lead or some other toxic substance. :D I should whip up some pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches, with french fries and brown gravy. That's some good heart stopping goodness.

Hey, do any of you guys from Louisiana have a line on some good Tasso? I was passing through several years ago on my way to Houston and the guy I was with stopped somewhere near the TX/LA state line and picked some up...needless to say I loved it. I need a Tasso fix...
Maybe I can talk one of you guys that are coming to the Bash into bringing me up 5 or 600 pounds of it...:D
