But, on a couple of sites I've seen on decoding rear axle tags, locking differentials will have an "L" between the first and second half of the gear ratio. so instead of 3.00 it would be 3L00 sorry, ~adam falcon8r 04-11-2009, 11:19 PM If it is in the car, jack up one wheel. Put the car in neutral and try to turn the wheel. If it is a posi it will be difficult to turn. An open rear will spin the drive shaft easily. If the diff is out of the housing, the clutches are visible. Hope that helps. Tres........ |
