03HD05ZX6R 04-29-2009, 08:16 AM Looks good. I'm in the same process right now.
77mud 04-29-2009, 12:09 PM Thanks I have just finished bolting the motor in so now I am running fuel lines and my ignition wires looking to go racing next weekend hopefully
77mud 04-30-2009, 09:14 PM Here are a few more pics of the motor in the truck not finished but I am getting there
77mud 05-06-2009, 07:08 AM I am gettin ready to break the motor in and then tune it up so I hope to go racing saturday night, I will try to get some videos up and maybe some time/distances
77mud 05-07-2009, 04:07 PM We broke in the motor today and it ran good the 850 demen feed it pretty good but we had to chang the jets to 83 to feed it alittle more and once that was done it setled down and counted them off nicely
IcallhimGeorge 05-07-2009, 04:13 PM You may check in to your rules but NMRO states you cannot mount any portion of the fuel system including the regulator on the firewall.
Looks good though.
77mud 05-07-2009, 04:35 PM There is nothing in our rules that say anything about it not being able to be mounted there, but thanks for looking out for me
IcallhimGeorge 05-07-2009, 04:57 PM I didnt know this myself until Rob - monsterbaby told me.
Its only a big deal if you run at sanctioned NMRO tracks or if you have a tech guy with a complex.
77mud 05-07-2009, 05:06 PM The man that does our tech specs is the one that built my motor and helped my fix it up and get it running so I think I wii be alright, He knows every thing about it and he told me to mount the regulator there:D
77mud 05-10-2009, 08:07 AM I ran the truck this weekend and I have a few more bugs to work out but other than that every thing seems to be great and the torque is unbelivable over that 351:D
77mud 05-10-2009, 02:09 PM here is the second pass, I got to do a little more carb work and turn the fuel presseur up a little but other than that it should be okay

THE79TANG 06-21-2009, 01:51 AM 77mud, I saw that you are from Stella and I live in Cape Carteret. I do not mud race but I know a lot of people that do. Your truck looks like a lot of fun in that mud. I drag race but I can definitly appreciate what you do. I have seen you on here for a while but I just do not post much.I am sure we know some of the same people in this area. I have a couple of race cars and build some cars locally with my bro in law. I am currently doing a 466 in my 79 fox hatch. I am thinking of starting my own build thread although It is a little late in the ball game. Maybe we will get a chance to meet sometime. Good luck.
77mud 06-21-2009, 08:32 AM Weel now the front end is coming apart in the truck since I broke it last night:mad:
Northwest outlaw 06-21-2009, 11:45 AM sorry about the front end cool truck. What kind of t case you guys run in the mud trucks?
77mud 06-21-2009, 11:55 AM I run The 205 case, since it is gear driven rather than depending on a chain, the 208 has a tendency to break when it gets beat and jerked, and since I run hill and hole pits, it seems better to run the 205
77mud 08-09-2009, 01:01 PM Well alittle update, I have now took First place 2 weekends in a row, and last night ran my pesonal best of 8.4 secs through our 200' hill and hole track

77F150 08-09-2009, 02:01 PM I've noticed Demons tend to come jetted lean out of the box (looking at mine and two friends with big blocks). Don't worry about going up a few jets until the plugs look good. Great work on the truck!
