He is Dan. I didn't pre-register until tonight, because I loaned $2K to my best friend a month ago, to save his house on a loan restructure. I didn't know if I was going to be able to have the extra money to come down. That was the money I saved for the Bash. I saved and pinched enough to go, even if I don't get paid back. You do what you gotta do for best friends. I'm the Godfather to three of his six kids, so he's like a brother. I wouldn't do it for anyone else. Dad and I can't wait to drive down and run the Fairlane. I want to break my record of 15 runs on Friday. :D I'm also going to race Saturday, which I didn't do two years ago. :cool:

I'm bringing my new ride, hopefully i'll get some passes on it before the bash. Don't wanna have to pop her cherry at the bash.

Don't be afraid to pop the cherry at the Bash. :D I did two years ago and I was so scared that first run. I built the engine myself (amateur), and was afraid I'd be the first one to mess up the track with the first run. 15 runs later and one clutch adjustment, I packed it up a happy camper. Let it go if you don't get a chance before hand.

Yep. Got the 6.4 in it. Only has 49,000 miles too. I hope everything goes good on Monday with the bank. I can sure use a new (to me) truck. My current one is giving me trouble almost everyday...

That's cool could you bring it and a trailer up to Ohio Ha HA!Then we could take my car to the Bash.If i wasn't so broke i would rent a trailer and bring my car to the Bash,Later Mark.

If I would've had more time at home, instead of work early this year mine would be finished and I'd be dragging it up.

Imagine how the Bash would be if everyone's cars were finished and brought them up there. We'd need mor epit space for sure!

Did I miss the BBF bash? I was at windy hollow Saturday night june 6th. I didn't bring my truck. They didn't say anything when I called about the bash, they said it was just saturday night bracket racing. I thought it was the 8th and 9th of june for some reason.

Unfortunately you missed it. It was Thursday (June 4) night supper at the Texas Roadhouse, then all day Friday (June 5), and Saturday morning (June 6) we started racing and finished up around 2:00 or so.

They ran the regular Saturday night program at Windy Hollow, but several of the Bash guys entered that also,,,like Dan Hobbs, Randy Moore, & Bobby Small.

This sucks I had planned on going and got my truck running a few days earlier. I saw dan hobbs make a pass or two, I got there around 8pm that night. Well maybe I'll get the oppertunity to meet everyone at the next upcoming event. By the way C. Evans you called me here while back and we talked about the problems my truck was having with backfire throught the carb. You were right it was a stuck valve that was causing all of my problems. I got a valve job done and now its running like a champ. Just thought I would take the time while I remembed to Thank you for the helpful info.
