Should help both breathing AND cooling. 4thHorseman 05-18-2009, 04:12 PM It'll help drop under hood temps as well as enable the carb to draw in a cooler air charge. The bottom of your windshield is a low pressure area. If you ever unfortunately drove it in the rain you'd see the water droplets run down your cowl hood scoop and then curve around and enter the opening at the rear like they are being sucked in. bbstang502 05-18-2009, 04:56 PM i cut six 2 1/2 inch holes in the back and i can feel lots heat comming out. i always figured the carb.was drawing in a lot of underhood heat. i hope this helps thanks BBFmavrick 05-18-2009, 10:54 PM Yes,Start cutting.
