Any interesting classes a '69 mustang would fit into? I missed the NMCA bowling green (rain) and wouldn't mind getting another race in...

Really? My car is actually a 79 Mustang with a 83 front end. So you have to register in advance?

I will be there!
I have to strip all of the "technology" out of the old '58. To run one of the Gas classes, I have to remove the delay box, throttle stop timers Racepak and the Ultradash.
It will be like the good old days!
I am going to bolt on the 100 lb weight bar...turn the timing down to about 24, move the shift point way down. maybe to about 6400 or so. That should get me close to the 9.50 heads up index.
It ought to be fun!
BTW...they are not serious about making us paying $50 to stay in our own motorhome in our own pit space....are they?

ah crap, there's a WWII event that weekend in Oakridge! I now recall that from last year...
I'll likely go tanking instead...

I've been before, and we've even entered with one of the cars I furnish an engine for. It's a heck of a show and I plan on being there again this year.

Dan "Wildman" Hobbs an Keith "58Wheelie" called me from BG last night. They were drinking Margaritas that we left with Dan from the BBF Bash, Dan said they were eating the Margaritas with a spoon, like a slushy!
Sounds like they were having a GREAT time, man I MUST go next year!
