Well in February I had a rod bolt break in my FE 487ci. Since I have to start over anyway's might as well step over to a 460. Basically I'm taking my dad 503ci with Cobra jet heads out of his 77 Mustang II and sticking it in my car. It went the best of 5.72@121 in his 2600lbs car. Since I'm going to be driving both cars I rather put the motor that makes more Horsepower in his car since it a full chassis car with big tires. My boss and I are going to build a 528ci with Ford A Heads

Also hopefully tomorrow or wedensday we will be testing are buddies 600ci C headed motor on the dyno

Yes it an APR bolt. They were 8740 and now that this happen I've been told I should of thrown those rod bolt away and upgrade to L19 rod bolts.

The motor in my dad car goes low 5.70's@121 in the 1/8 and 9.0's in good weather down the 1/4 mile and last time out a month or so ago it went 5.81@120 1/8 and 9.15@148. That's at 2600lbs and my car weight 3350 with the FE so I hope it runs good in my car.

So the A headed 528ci I hope runs good. Once I run both cars down the track I'll posted numbers.
