Here is my 67 skullcracker

Well ill post up the build of my 67 skullcracker.

Block: Ford 460 D1VE A2A 2 bolt main (all deburing and oil mods done in house) Machine work still looking at Jeff Cassell or Percision Balancing

Crank: 4.300 Scat 4340

Rods: 6.700 BME Alum

Heads: P51 (Custom rub on buy C Evens when i get that far)

Cam: ? dont know yet

Intake: Victor 460 Dom (Custom rub on by C Evens when i get that far)

Oil pan: ? looking at Lem Evens custom

Turbos: BW s400 with racecovers

Trans: 2 speed powerglide (Built in house)

Chassis: 25.4 tube chassis (Built in house)

Front & Rear Tire: MT front runner 26x4x15 MT ET Drag 29.5x13.5x15

It is going ok im takeing my time on it making shure that it stay leavel and square because i dont have a chassis table or jig yet thats next on the build list. Looking and getting a brake and a bead roller i need to win the lotto. :)

It should be interesting. If I were you I would get a cam for a light car and a stall speed converter that stalls a little early to take some of the hit off the torque. With something that light the engine will certainly pull out of it.

well cleaned the grage and have to putin some red heads to bolt down my bender and going to try to get the main hoop and some small things done to day this rain is killing me.

Man, that looks great, your makin good progress.

It sure will be a wild ride, its going to be mostly engine!! Perfect.

That thing is coming along great. Might be doin some shake down runs by the fall at the rate your going!!!

You do a nice job of fitting the tube, makes for a clean looking weld.

What is the wheel-base on the bug? Should be a handfull, lots of steering:eek:. Sounds like fun.
