71 Ford F-100

1971 Ford F-100 pickup with a tube chassis frame, full roll cage. I built it my self from the frame up. I will be putting a 514 in it. It's just about complete. The best time with the 468 was 10.65 at 125mph. The new motor should make 230hp more than the 468.

that is sweet i had a 71 couple years back nothing like that did have a 429

Did you use the stock throttle linkage? As far as between the rod that comes out of the firewall and the carb.

I am building a 72 F100, but not as radical as yours. Nice work.

The first time i built the truck i took a gas pedal assm out of a ranger v 6 with the cable because it uses a shorter cable then the 4 cyl . This time building the truck i used the A R T racing pedal kit.

Its Van. I finally made it onto this site. Thanks for the info! For all you ford freaks out there, I just want to put in my 2 cents worth about this truck and Joe.
This truck is INCREDIBLE and the pictures do NOT do it justice! I have seen this truck go from a daily street driver to what you see here. I can confirm that Joe has had many long days and nights of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears building this truck. His wife (bless her soul) has been very supportive and has developed a love of hot rods and drag racers over the years herself.
Let me also tell you that Joe is a class act. He is honest and one of my very best friends. We should all be glad to have Joe on this site. He is very knowledgeable about Fords even though he will probably deny it and is always willing to give a helping hand or advise when needed.
Oh, and by the way...if you see this yellow rocket ship on the Florida roads, BEWARE...it's bite is as big as its bark!!
