My 82 F100

This is my 1982 F100 2wd short bed. It had a 302 and AOD I pulled out. This is the 460 I am currently in the process of building. It already has a 9 inch rear end. Once i get the 460 completed I am rebuilding the C6 I have for it.

Cool lookin truck, what are you planing on doing to the motor, keep us posted as you continue the swap

Currently I have a set of PI heads that I am putting together for it. I am going to get a new intake manifold, carb, headers and a nice cam. I might go for a high stall converter but am not too sure on that yet. I am hoping to get a good power upgrade over the 302. :D

You should are you planing on putting a cam in it, and if so I would recomend also putting a good timings set

What type of timing set do you reccomend?

I use Cloyes, depending what year the motor was from I just looked it up and it would cost between $99-$110
