Okay guys, here's the official event flyer. Hopefully we can get a big BBF group out there to do battle with the Mopar guys. The track is going to do what they can to reserve a pit area for us.
Please let me know if you have any questions. :D
ThndrChkn 07-02-2009, 08:50 AM Thanks Carl... I'm already checking to see what I can do to get there...
Doug...
mudbogtom 07-02-2009, 11:04 PM Carl, do you happen to know if there is any overnight camping allowed at the track... or do we need to make arrangements for a room somewhere in town? No fancy RV here... just a tent or the back of the wagon all folded down in case of bad weather haha.
Edit:Is there a KFC close to the track or do I need to make a special order locally and truck it up there in case ole Rob "Schmitty" fried chikin eater shows up?

Not sure about on-site camping. Probably best to give the track a call. Their website has a few hotels listed that offer discounts for racers. http://www.pueblomotorsportspark.com/faq.htm
There's four KFC's within five miles of the track, so there might be enough chicken for Schmitty if we limit him to two stores a day.
jbozzelle 07-03-2009, 11:39 AM Carl,
Cool to see you guys are going to do this. Post it in Chilly's Garage too so it gets more exposure.
Good luck!

I'm pretty sure there will be a contribution jar available, but I have a sponsor that's contributing on behalf of our group. The only requirements for participation are a smile and a friendly attitude........but we'll make an exception for Bob. :p
zephyrbob 07-21-2009, 10:06 PM i was gonna bathe too.

Kind of hard to put a number on that since we're not taking pre-race entries, but I have had a few local guys tell me they've booked rooms down there.
CarsByCarl 08-13-2009, 11:23 AM Update:

zephyrbob 08-24-2009, 02:00 AM thanks much carl! from the special t shirts to scorpion rocker banners to the house brew supplied by the irish pub, it was great. even the track management was very people orientated. the emt/safety officer visited with everyone, the ticket girl did up the bbq sat night, and the main man personnally greeted all the racers.
.... with the cars, the people there, the track, made it all nice. i have been to bowling green, st louis, martin mi, byron, rising sun, englishtown, indy, rt66 ford events. carl, your efforts made this weekend as top notch as any of thoose major ford events. thanks again, zbob
....ps though i admit the arthritus was killing me after the roadtrip there, lol.
mudbogtom 08-25-2009, 06:12 PM Carl, I need to repeat what Bob said... Thanks for all the work you put into this weekend. It was good to meet you and Bob and get faces with names/voices over the phone. Bob and I really missed out by not having our rides ready, but it was still worth the trip. Next time I will be ready...leftover gas money is in the jar, and on my way home, I found my route to tow the loaded trailer for the next trip. Track was run nice, everyone there was great to talk to. The BBQ and coldies were awesome Saturday night at the track. Bob mentioned the ticket girl, I didn't think he noticed her lol. Thanks for all the fun on Monday, it was above and beyond! Gotta go unload stuff, help is here.
Thanks Again!
Tom
mudbogtom 01-07-2010, 10:32 PM Carl... when do you anticipate Pueblo Motorsports Park getting a schedule on their site? Looking forward to the next one!
