Cut old roof off, finished cage, installed new aluminum tubs, and prepped for new roof...

I took the taller (29") front runners off, and put on shorter (26") front runners...

1st day at the track this year, after new paint, trans swap from C6 to a Glide and a cam swap... Still has the tall fronts on it...

Still need to get a front bumper... I found that a 63 Galaxie front bumper is the same exact length, so if it looks good, I'll order up a fiberglass one and put it on...

That's it... Thanks guys for all of your help, guideance and comments... Goin' to the 1/4 mile track next weekend I hope, (11-12) so we'll see how it does...

IT has definitly come through a transformation, from looking at the first pics you would have neve known that it was the same truck, I kind of like the Idea of the 4X4 drag truck, go 1/8 mile drags this weekend and mud Drags next weekend kind of a dual purpose truck, Thanks for sharing it with us Doug you really got it lookin good

Sharp looking truck.

I used to have a '75 shortbed. I cut 300lbs off the front by switching to an Alston Mustang II front suspension, Mustang II rack and pinion with 2x3 frame rails cab forward.
