Uhhhh so I'm not "off topic" What's a STALL. I heard one of my friends say that I need a STALL. Is that the place where the horses are stabled? :p

stall is how low your engine will rev before it ceases to run anymore that point is the stall. :D

So now I have the 1st offical reply to the 1st post and so it is on topic... Yes you are correct a stall is where you keep horses but you can also keep other livestock there too!

A stall is when an engine builder tells you 6 to 8 weeks for ur motor and then its not ready until a freakin year later:mad: that my friend is a stall:rolleyes:

In the last several days, the only thing that has been getting worse are a few people's reputations. You seemed to like it here before, you were all concerned about the big changes coming, and so far the only thing changing is several guys acting like there is a substitute 7th grade teacher here for a week. That and Bruno changing his site to be more like this one, and you guys treating this site like Bruno's was when everyone wanted to have this one be serious, but still have a fun playhouse to screw around in. You like the rules enough that you copied them to your new forum...

Guys i know some of yall like the laid back atmosphere of this site--- but ... if something does go wrong with the other site we want to invite the respected members here so lets keep the same rules from the other site.

1) Don't be an idiot
2) Post as if you are sitting across from the "audience"
3) No religious or political posts
4) No offensive material requarding the opposite sex ( pics, language,etc...)
5) See Rule 1


PS i will add rules as needed and im going to clean up some of the unwanted stuff also ...just be patient

Guys ive been thinking about this one for a couple of days and some of the pics that i have posted and other members have posted were offensive to the opposite gender. I would be totally embarressed if Kristina Lawyer came on the site to ck out some flow #'s Charlie posted and ran across that thread or threads like that. ( maybe a bad analogy but it makes sense) We need to think here guys and make this a better place . Team work everyone ----if there is an issue with something please pm me

It does not appear that it is the 100's or possibly 1000's of the rest of us regular guys are part of the respected crowd, since you are trying to make this place miserable to hang out for long?


Since you started the new site, I have read everything from day 1, and it seems lately you guys are too worried about what is going on here for it to be a place you don't like anymore. If you really don't like it here, build a better one, without dragging this one down. Your time would be better spent making the new one work... it has a lot of potential.

Im sorry you feel that way , im in no way or fashion trying to bring this site down. My site has been up for a while due to the times when Chilly had his site crash. So mine was an avenue for Chilly and jones to communicate to everyone whats going on .......... there are a lot of upset people who have floked to the site and yes i have invited several people over there too. again im sorry this is the way you feel . have a nice day.

I still love this site, I have not encountered any problems yet. Other than the spam posts leaking in. I was just poking a lil fun and going off what alot of people are thinking is going to happen. Until some thing actually changes for the worst, I'm fine here:) Also I was already a member at bruno's site way before this buy out thing. thx.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed in the past and who will contribute in the future. Bruno has been and continues to be a great help! The site is still the same, just have fun, and act normal. Lets get back on track and if anyone needs anything, please don't hesitate to ask!

You are thinking of Bernoulli's Principle.

Bernoulli's Principle is the principle that allows wings to produce lift and planes and helicopters to fly. There are many factors that can effect the lift produced under this principle, but in order to fully understand how and why things can effect flight one must understand how Bernoulli's principle works.

the bottom picture depicts Stall of an airplane, the flow is disrupted. It's not air speed or altitude that does it. It is the wing angle. Inversly, the "wing" on a dragster or F1, Indy car placed high in the air is the same thing, just turned over so that the pressure is on top.
If the downforce is enough, an indy car could actually run upside down on a track..... a big if I know but if the downforce is great enough it's possible.

the reason I am somewhat familar with this is we use the same principle to adjust the blades of a gas turbine to keep it out of stall in the gas compressors we run at work .... to transport gas to make electricity so we can all get online. :)
