sweet ...... my neighbors have called the cops on me twice already i need some mufflers ..... can you advise me on which would be the best ones for my combo ...... i have a set of kooks headers , 850 hp on motor an additional 500 on the juice ...... i dont want to loose any performance . which part # do i need sir ?

Welcome, I run 3"x18" Magnaflow ovals on my 502 BBF, they were recommended by my engine builder who says they were the best from his dyno testing. I like them because they are quieter at idle than my previous Flowmaster Delta Flow 3", and my neighbors really appreciate that! The stainless looks killer too!

When did having a sponsor become so bad? I dont think the gains in drag racing today would have been possible without sponsor money. I feel flattered that sponsors like magnaflow recognize the potential of these forums to promote their products and sponsor the site so we can continue to communicate all of our knowledge with each other. I'm pretty sure i'm using the 14619 6" X 14" Round body 3" Center Inlet and Outlet.It's not real real loud but not quite either.The Stainless is holding up great on them,my buddy uses them on his NMRA Pure Street Car.He has only 2 1/2" mufflers because of the class he runs in doesn't allow any bigger exhaust but runs 10.60's with them.

x 2... also i use there exhaust on my 08 f 150 and its sounds good plus a lil power gain....but i like the sweet sound of the "open Header" on my bbf sory:)

so by sponsor you mean they pay you for ad space or we can benifit from this relationship, i.e...discounts or contengency stuff? I mean the word loses meaning when you apply it to things that don't benifit the site members.

not sure what ky's been doing that's been so bad (it's all been deleted) but since magnaflow is a new sponsor. what's up guys? do you make mufflers for 1800hp applications? if so, why should I use yours over my borlas?

I'm thinking Sponsor = "They pay to offset the bandwidth costs associated with this site" and they get to put their name on top.

Or maybe it's "460ford.com members can get 10% off their order by entering 460ford" in the promocode box. :D

Don't think bandwidth will be a problem with the rapid decline in activity...........

I need mufflers for my car, and I'm leaning towards Magnaflow. I just need to get off my lazy butt and fab the rest of the system so I will know what size I need and what will fit. :rolleyes: Automotive A.D.D. strikes again. :D:p

i have to give the thumbs down to even adding this thread. i mean why have it if no one is going to answer our questions? were we all just supposed to "comment" magnaflow? where are the threads for the other site supporters and vendors? why single out magnaflow? at least the other vendors onthe site are social...

There are a couple legitmate questions in this thread. I always make an effort to support those vendors who support my interest. Part of that 'support' is answering questions and offering input and advice.

I like Magnaflow products and I hope they decide to offer some 'support' to the BBF community. Either way, my next set of mufflers will be Magnaflow...because no other muffler companies support BBF either. At this point, though, don't interpret my buying decision as loyalty.

Maybe they havent responded since they probably seen the way the other "new" support people have been treated, ex: Cale, The BG tech guy, ect....

Once people start treating the newbies like people, hopefully they will start responding!

Be ashame if the guys who make the parts stayed away with their knowledge cause some on the site pushed them away!
