I took my old Bird out last Sat for an open Promod race in Orangeburg SC...I was having clutch problems all day, so I never got a good pass in...I had a 1.00 60 foot on my last pass and pedaled twice and ran a 4.48......Race gods just weren't on my side, but Ill get it figured out.....

Robbie,

You have any pics of that beast you could share with us? Sounds like a bad ride. Need to bring it to the Bash next year!

Nice!

Are you using an MSD 8973 timing control or do they allow that?

what do you run for an onboard battery? Ive been thinking about getting a remote starter set up on my blower is the reason I am asking.

Yep, I really like the 8973! I am using a mount from Star racing here in GA for 1 Milwaukee drill battery. A 14 volt Milwaukee drill battery has 15 volts when its fully charged.....The voltage is very constant thru the run according to my Racepak and heck 2 batteries and a charger is under $300. I really like it. I will post a pic of it I crank the car with 24 volts from 2 batteries on the four wheeler, spins the heck out of it....
