Automatic, or stick?

Much of the time it has to do with the gearing of the car, and the overall setup. If you figure out how much power you have and the overall weight of the car+driver, you will have a general idea on what kind of times the car should be capable of running, provided everthing is close. Then you go from there.

How many cubes?
Estimated HP?
Weight of car?
Stick/Auto?
Tire size?

That will help determine a little further what the capabilty of the car is.

With that weight and power I would say you are only about a max of 2 tenths off. That power to weight ratio on a slide rule would put you at about 6.39 or 6.41 in the 1/8th.

For me tonight 1.34 = 5.87, powerglide, 10" tires, 3065#s

I'd say the low gear of the 3 speed and big tires make it 60 good.
