I have a 460 with a c-6 trans that I had in my stang, but have since broke the motor.
Turns out that its alot worse than I thought so the motor will be out for a while.
I'm going to put my old motor back in the car which is a 302.
I have found a c-6 for a small block 302 and was wondering if my converter would fit into this trans behind the 302?
The converter is the big pilot one and stalls about 3800 behind my mild 460.
Would it line up with the 302 flex plate and would I have fitment issues into the crank with the big pilot? The motor was in a stick car and I can remove the pilot brg.
If it would fit, any idea what the approx stall would be behind a 302, or should it still be the same?
Thanks
Dave
