Hello everyone,
I was mocking up everything for my 460 rebuild/stroke in my 1970 Continental, and noticed that the stock kickdown lever doesn't really fit, or have full range of motion with the new intake and carb on the car. I was just hoping a few people could post what they did or used to make their aftermarket intake/carb combos work with the C6 kickdown. The intake is a weiand stealth, the carb is a 4150.

Thanks for any information you can provide!

I used the Lokar accelerator linkage and cable kickdown when I retrofitted a 460/c-6 into my truck.. Worked great.

+1 on the Lokar!

It uses a cabel & brackets instead of a "lever thing" to connect the carb lenkage to the transmission.

I just welded a piece into mine. Did lots of measuring, and came up with 2" needed. Added 2" in, and now it's too long. So I'll just cut an inch back out. It's probably easier to use the Lokar stuff, but I'm kind of stubborn.
