Ummmm.....

Billy tells them what he wants and they grind it! LOL!

I will have to give him a call and see if he wants to answer this question himself... ;)

Billy would not have a problem telling you who grinds his cams....

I mean that is not a big deal, the big deal is knowing the Grind OF his cam.... the specs.

I mean that is like knowing I use a RAM clutch, but not knowing how much base or counter or launch rpm or disc material or whatever I use.

I need to send him an email and see if I can get him to come on here.

I was just wondering if Jay Allen did them for him. Jay and Billy are good friend atleast that is what I hear thru the rummor mill!

I think Billy used to get them done by Comp. He appeared in some of their ads. Don't know if that's still the case.

Billy really knows his nitrous tuneups, he makes more power on less nitrous than almost anybody. I read an interview of him in Race Pages where they asked him about nitrous, it was really interesting. His knowledge on nitrous and suspension tuning would be a big asset to the forum.

I heard that Comp did his cams. Rumor was it that they aren't even in comp's computer system (on paper locked up)

Jay Allen makes some killer cams. I had him grind one for my motor and my motor guy had comp (neither of us knew the other had one ground) Jay's cam had a good 4 tenths on comp's!

Knowing him he probably just takes an old rat- tail file and a hunk of bar stock and "grinds" his own from scratch. That dude can truly do it all.

I don't really think he will mind anyone knowing comp grinds his stuff. but his specs are kept between them.

Whitefield. I think it's safe to say that it wouldn't matter much who grinds Billy's cams. I'm sure they are ground to Billy's specs and kept secret. And if Billy gave you one of his cams, it wouldn't help you out anyway. Your combos are not similar at all.

Just because a certain racer uses a certain cam grinder does not mean that that cam grinder would have the best cam for your perticular combo.

Is this clear as mud? lol.

Glidden has a new 2010 mustang body that Hass is puting on the the chassis he ran last year in adrl xtf. Can't wait to see how well it will run considering the aero improvements over the gto body!

He's been going fast for a long time, wonder if he still has the gt with the flames on it and the cut up rear fender openings(looked sawzawlled and hammered then painted),was a long time ago but I loved that car, only saw it in mags, would like to see it in person, that and Chris Littles old drag radial car.

Yeah, well Jay's 347 junk just made 694 hp. So maybe you might just want to take that cam that's proping your door open and stick it in your motor.
