hey yall, im supposed to be driving my truck to college tomarrow afternoon and i lost my 1st gear.
i guess my mechanic buddy said that i need to adjust the gear band for 1st gear in my transmission... i have no idea how to do that or where to do that and if it is an easy fix
i have drive, 2nd, park, nuetral.
i can shift the truck manually from 1st to 2nd, to drive for 3rd.
i put the truck into the 1st gear on the transmission and the truck dont want to move.. it wont rev past 2k rpms either.. it feels like it wants to go, but cant
could that be the band needing adjustment? or something else?
