just bought a '79 f 350 4 speed 4x4, originally came with the 400 motor, i took it out and put in my 1970 460, not much done to the motor little porting on the exaust, cam, headers, im thinking around 425hp, anyways i got everything together and took her out for a drive took off in 3rd gear and mashed the gas and felt the cluch slip like crazy, no its not new,its not in ''horrible'' shape either tho, i thought it would hold up but apparently not, so i was wondering if i ordered a new stock clutch, would it hold this power level, ill be running with a set of MT 39x18x15 tires also, any advice is welcomed

What flywheel are you running currently? Is it a diaphram Pressure plate?
If it is a 360/390 flywheel, and an 11 inch clutch, put a 11inch Ram Metallic button disc in it and a heavy diaphram P/P and you should be fine. I am running an L&L conversion 12 inch clutch with there Metallic button disc at about 500 HP truck pulling and holds just fine, I even slip it off the line. I think you can buy the entire L&L kit, flywheel included for around 650.00. :D

That would be the one. Just make for sure when you order it you order the one with the metallic button disc, DO NOT buy the one with a normal organic disc, it won't hold.

Not real sure, I don't think I would be afraid to throw 600 HP to it.
