is the MSD programmable digital 7 with traction control detection & acquisition (jegs # 121-75301) one of the MSD ignition boxes banned by NHRA for use? if it is legal, anyone here use this box?

No, It's legal- it is actually the one that prevents the use of traction control. The Digital 7 Programmable Plus is the one with the RPM Slew control that acts like traction control and is banned by just about every racing series.
