Hello,
I made one pass on Tuesday night, the car launched okay, but when I pulled 2nd, the tranny went straight to 3rd. When I got back to my trailer I drove the car around the lot and it would not go into 1st, but 2nd & 3rd seemed okay. I have not crawled under the car to check the cable, but I was also wondering if it could be anything else that would cause this.
The tranny is a Fully rollerized Art Carr race unit with a low gear/low drag planetary set (2:57, 1.57, 1:1) quarter stick shifter, radiator style cooler, full manual TB reverse VB and an 8inch converter. It only has maybe a total of 12-16 1/8 mile passes on it. Oh and it had 175 lbs of pressure.
